Oblivion Remastered Fans Think Combat-Only Builds Have Been "Hampered" By The Removal Of This One Mechanic

The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered has undoubtedly made a lot of positive changes to the base game, and is getting updates to keep improving upon things that may have been an issue for certain people. However, there are a few changes that the remaster has made that haven't gone down too well with those more intimately familiar with the original.

For example, Oblivion Remastered's weight system came under fire shortly after launch, as did the changes to two-handed weapons, the removal of the old game's physics systems, and a few more little bugbears that have added up as people have played more and more.

Now, fans are calling for another feature that was in the original game, but didn't make the jump over to the remaster. On the Oblivion subreddit earlier this week, a user called TheJohnnyFlash called on Bethesda to reintroduce the side effects that were applied to enemies during certain power attacks, a feature that was replaced in the remaster with a simple bleed and weakness debuff.
