MindsEye, which is developed by one of the former lead developers of the Grand Theft Auto franchise, is the worst reviewed game of the year.
We already had an inkling that the game would be bad, but its launch highlights just how broken this game is. Content creators were told at the last second that they were unable to stream the game like they had promised. The AI is a complete mess, the game constantly crashes, and there are so many bugs that it might as well be the epicenter of a cicada outbreak like I've been experiencing here in Cincinnati, Ohio.
It's not the only game that was a disaster at launch (looking at you, CyberPunk 2077), but there was at least hope for a possible redemption story there. Here, there isn't, but that hasn't stopped the game from seeing commercial success.
