It's been a bit since we've last had some significant news regarding Ubisoft's planned remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. However, that has now changed, as the official Prince of Persia social media account has re-affirmed that the game is still in the works, along with a thank you to the fans who've stuck around.
It's not a significant update by any means, but it's good to know that the game is still in development as planned. In the interim, the account suggested PoP fans check out The Rogue Prince of Persia, which will have its full release this August.
The only thing to blame for The Lost Crown's failings is Ubisoft mismanagement.
Long-time Prince of Persia fans may recall that the Sands of Time remake was originally supposed to release all the way back in early 2021, only for it to be delayed indefinitely. Eventually, that date shifted to 2022, with an update affirming that the game was still in development.
