The Sims 4 has announced a new expansion pack, but fans have pointed out that it already has a major oversight. Enchanted by Nature is scheduled for a July 10 release. It'll provide several new options for off-the-grid living, allowing Sims to farm for subsistence and live off the land they tend. It's a pretty expansive pack, including a variety of new options - perhaps most significantly, the return of fairies to The Sims' roster of supernatural creatures.
According to a post by Reddit user Stoltlallare, though, there's something missing: there are some base game mechanics that simply require you to buy things or use electricity in order to complete them. Among other fans, they're requesting an update to the base game to add alternate options, allowing players to produce their own cooking ingredients or use non-electric options in order to complete certain in-game goals.
