NIS America has confirmed the release of The Legend of Heroes: Trails Beyond the Horizon for Nintendo Switch 2. The game is coming to the console in January 2026 and will be the next chapter in the Trails subseries after The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak 2 was released in the West in February 2025.
Once again developed by Nihon Falcon, The Legend of Heroes: Trails Beyond the Horizon was first released in 2024 in Asia for PC and consoles. In the story, the future of the continent of Zemuria is at risk, so humanity decides to explore space. As a result, Van, Ashen Chevalier Rean Schwarzer, and Father Kevin Graham will be put on a collision course with the secrets of Zemuria as they forge connections and master skills. Now, fans waiting for The Legend of Heroes: Trails Beyond the Horizon will have another console to play the real-time and turn-based combat JRPG.
