Developer Gearbox Software is promising a large amount of post-launch content and support for Borderlands 4. Yesterday, after weeks of public scrutiny and outcry from the game's community regarding the potential $79.99 price tag of the game, Randy Pitchford, CEO of Gearbox Software, confirmed the Borderlands 4 price to be $69.99 and announced pre-orders were now live. Along with that information came more details about some of the different editions of the game and what the more expensive packs will entail for future DLC.
In a post from the official Gearbox Software X account, the company details the currently planned DLC for Borderlands 4, and there's a healthy amount of post-launch content, with Gearbox's post saying: "We know how important this is to our community, and we have a huge slate of post-launch content planned, including free content drops and updates." The post also highlights the upcoming Bounty Pack bundle and the Vault Hunter story DLC as major parts of the post-launch support for the title.
There are currently three different game versions Borderlands 4 fans can pre-order: the Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, and Super Deluxe Edition. The Standard Edition is just the game itself....
