PS Now's roster of games for the month of October have been announced.
On the PlayStation Blog, the five games coming to PS Now this month have been revealed. The first is Days Gone. In Days Gone, players step into the shoes of bounty hunter Deacon St. John. Players will have to scavenge for supplies to craft items and weapons, or take a chance with other survivors trying to make a living through trade, or more violent means. With humanity ravaged by creatures called Freakers, any mistake players make could be their last as they try to craft a new life in the Pacific Northwest high-desert. Days Gone will be available until January 5th, 2021.
Also coming to PS Now is the remake of MediEvil. Gamers play as Sir Daniel Fortesque, an inept, and long-dead, knight who is accidentally resurrected by the evil sorcerer Zarok 100 years after his embarrassing death. Now Sir Dan is the only thing standing in the way of Zarok's demon hordes whom have their sight on the kingdom of Gallowmere. Players will have to defeat Zarok and grant Sir Dan the honor that he lost at his death.
The third game coming to PS Now this month is Friday the 13th. Friday the 13th is an asymmetrical multiplayer title based off of the storied movie franchise. Players will take the role of either a survivor, or Jason Voorhees, the man who cannot be killed. As a survivor, players will have to use tools to survive, escape, or try to take down Jason. Those who play as the killer will have to use his unique abilities to track down survivors and bring them an untimely demise.
The next game coming to PS Now is Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince. Trine 4 is a 2.5D platformer that has players take on the role of three heroes as they pursue a wayward prince whose nightmares are becoming a reality and are terrorizing the lands. In order to defeat this threat, gamers must juggle the powers of each hero. They can conjure platforms as Amadeus the Wizard, take out targets from a distance as the thief Zoya, and take on attackers at close range as the knight Pontius. Trine 4 features multiplayer both online and offline, allowing players to team up and save the realm.
The final game coming to PS Now in October is Rad. Rad is a 3D action rogue-like set in a world where humanity has faced the Armageddon twice. Players must venture into the Fallow, an ever-changing radioactive wasteland filled with unspeakable creatures, and save what is left of the world.
