After months of us all pretending that we hadn't seen that piece of artwork, Nintendo has finally confirmed that Donkey Kong Bananza is bringing back Pauline.

As great as Mario Kart World is, the most exciting launch window game for the Switch 2 is unarguably Donkey Kong Bananza. We've been waiting for the big guy to get a new game for some time, and Bananza looks to be a massive evolution for the character, which makes sense since it's seemingly made by the Mario Odyssey team.

Donkey Kong and Pauline could be the ultimate Nintendo Switch 2 duo this July.

That being said, there's very little that we actually know about Donkey Kong Bananza so far. Aside from some previews (which I was lucky enough to take part in) and the first trailer, Nintendo has been keeping things very hush-hush. The silence just ended thanks to a Bananza Direct that finally confirmed Pauline's involvement in the game.
