"We Heard You": The Coalition Is Trying To Make Up For Gears Of War Reloaded's Disastrous First Beta

Gears of War Reloaded is launching on PlayStation for the first time this August, but it's already disappointing fans of the series thanks to a disastrous first beta that left many frustrated with developer The Coalition. It was deemed a "gigantic fumble" by fans, as connectivity issues blighted the game's beta weekend, which was then taken offline in the middle of the day on a Sunday before many had gotten the chance to play.

Understandably, those that felt hard done by took to social media with their complaints, and it seems as though The Coalition has taken notice. Earlier this week, it was announced that the game's second beta, which is scheduled to take place this weekend, will be both extended and expanded, as The Coalition is seemingly trying to make up for the disaster of the first.

In a new tweet via the official Gears of War Twitter account (thanks GamesRadar), The Coalition acknowledges fan complaints by saying "we heard you", and lays out its plans to make up for the disappointment the first beta caused.
