While we haven't heard anything new regarding the Halo franchise in a while, following the release of Halo Infinite in 2021, a new rumor suggests that this could change soon.
The new rumor concerns a remake of the original Halo, a concept that has been discussed before, although Microsoft hasn't yet announced anything.
This new rumor comes hot on the heels of Microsoft said to be "trying their damnest" to replace the Halo Studios devs with AI.
Halo Remake On The Way But There Won't Be Multiplayer It's Claimed
The news comes from content creator Rebs Gaming, who has leaked previous Halo stuff before. The content creator made a video where it mentioned that, according to his sources, they had not heard anything about the multiplayer being done for the Combat Evolved remake.
Additionally, he stated that his source(s) hadn't heard anything about Halo Infinite being ported to the PS5, which is a rumor that has surfaced before.
