Nintendo is Surveying Fans About Switch 2 Game-Key Cards

Nintendo has begun sending out surveys to players in Japan related to Game-Key Cards on the Switch 2, with the company wanting to learn more about consumers' opinions on the controversial physical releases. While the Switch 2 has been a massive hit for the legendary company, it hasn't been without its share of controversy, with many in the community frustrated by the high cost of its first-party titles and its usage of Game-Key Cards, which don't actually include any game data.

Those concerned about game preservation have spoken out against Nintendo's use of Game-Key Cards since the Switch 2's launch in early June. The physical cards only include a digital activation key for games, and the majority of all Switch 2 titles utilize this system, as larger games won't fit on the console's 64GB cartridges.
