Fallout is an incredibly popular franchise for Bethesda and Xbox, having recently seen crossovers with the likes of Magic: The Gathering, and got its own Amazon TV show. That makes it especially galling that we haven't had a proper Fallout game to sink our teeth into for almost seven years, and almost a decade if you don't count Fallout 76. That's a long time with no Fallout.
Thankfully, it seems as though Bethesda is taking steps to remedy this, as it was claimed multiple Fallout games are in development right now, including that rumored Fallout 3 remaster/remake. Well, we can now add one more game to that pile, as it has now been reported that Fallout 5 has been "fully greenlit", and is officially moving forward in development.
This comes from Microsoft insider Jez Corden, who claimed in the most recent episode of the Xbox Two podcast (thanks GameSpot) that Fallout 5 has been greenlit, but is "not entirely sure" who is actually making it. Corden believes that Bethesda's core studios are currently working on more Starfield DLC as well as The Elder Scrolls 6, which would make sense since Todd Howard has said that The Elder Scrolls 6 is...
