Today is the latest installment of "someone asked the internet what they should name a thing", and though the vote isn't over yet... yes it is, come on. Look at those numbers. You thought Helldivers players could be normal?
As a bit of backstory, the city in question here was once called "Remembrance" - and as a major site of the Illuminate's invasion of Super Earth, it broke a little bit. But it got better! Efforts to rebuild the city have been underway, and as part of it all, it'll be given a new name.
Through glorious Democracy, players of Helldivers 2 have been able to pick their favorite option and leave their mark on the world. Names other than Gun were, of course, put forward. But none of them were "Gun", so they all suck.
