A Minecraft Movie achieved obscene levels of viral fame earlier this year for a variety of reasons. Right at the top of that list was its Chicken Jockey, and a notch below it, the Steve's Lava Chicken song performed by Jack Black, which I'm assuming he made up on the spot. That song has finally found its way into the game, but before you can hear it, you'll need to find a Chicken Jockey.
Spotted by Dexerto, Steve's Lava Chicken was added to Minecraft via the recent 1.21.94 Bedrock update. It's not the Jack Black version, but rather an 8-bit cover by Hyper Potions, which, after having the original playing on repeat in my car for the past three months thanks to my five-year-old son, is a welcome change, although still almost as annoying after being subjected to the Billboard 100 hit so many times already.
