The Witcher 4 might be Ciri's story, but it wouldn't feel right without at least one appearance from the silver-haired wolf himself.

Indeed, Geralt will make an appearance in the sequel—perhaps taking up the role of the wisened old mentor like Vesemir before him—but it's unclear if he'll only have a cameo, or if he will have a larger part to play.

Regardless, Doug Cockle is back in the booth, and while he didn't explicitly say it was for The Witcher, that's all anyone is talking about. "Revisit to an ongoing project," he teased on Instagram. "So fun to dip my toes back into this pond!!"
