Silent Hill Creator Has A New Project And It's Not A Sequel To Slitterhead

While Keiichi Toyama might best be known as the man who created Konami's Silent Hill franchise, the developer has recently released a new horror game last year titled Slitterhead under his new company, Bokeh Game Studio.

Unfortunately, the game's reception was less than ideal, and there's no word on how it did commercially either, which is never a good sign.

If you were hoping for a sequel to amend the game's mistakes, that might take a while before that happens.

Toyama Talks About Slitterhead And Confirms New Project Is In Development

Speaking to Famitsu, Toyama talked about Slitterhead's reception among gamers and how the title caused confusion since people didn't know whether it was a horror or action game, which is something he wants to avoid doing in his future projects.

When asked about Slitterhead's sales and whether it was a success, Toyama admitted that it hasn't achieved that goal yet, stating (via machine translation), "In terms of sales, to be honest, we need to keep selling for a longer period of time.
