A new leak suggests that FromSoftware is wrapping up development on its next game, and that it may belong to one of its classic franchises, such as Dark Souls or Armored Core.
Now that Elden Ring: Nightreign is out, FromSoftware is only confirmed to be working on The Duskbloods, which is an upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive multiplayer title. Company veteran Hidetaka Miyazaki has dropped hints about his post-Elden Ring project, but nothing is known about it at this time.
FromSoftware’s next game could be further along than anyone realized. A leak posted by MP1st is claiming that FromSoftware’s upcoming title, codenamed FMC, will be ready by next year at the latest.
What Is FromSoftware Working On?
The FMC code name matches the internal code structure used for the Dark Souls and Armored Core series. This suggests it’s connected to those franchises, which narrows down the list somewhat.
