For some background, Hiroaki Omiya is the producer at MAGI Inc., a Tokyo-based game development studio known for the popular Magical Bakery and Magical Kingdom board game series. After successfully developing over 10 board games under the “Magical” brand, he transitioned into digital game development with Magical Princess, a daughter-raising simulation game.
The Outerhaven: Magical Princess seems to be a game inspired by the cult-favorite Princess Maker games. That game itself is heavy on not just stat management, but also has a lot of random chance factors that create a unique experience. What is it you hope that Magical Princess brings to the table in the daughter-raising genre?
Hiroaki Omiya: As you mentioned, Magical Princess is heavily influenced by great predecessors in the daughter-raising simulation genre, such as the Princess Maker series.
