Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds has confirmed once and for all that the Werehog version of Sonic won't have voice lines at all, and fans really aren't happy about it.

Over the past few months, Sega has shone a massive spotlight on a key element of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds - its star-studded roster. Alongside mainstays like Sonic, Amy, and Eggman, CrossWorlds has a host of guest characters, ranging from Sega icons like Ichiban and Hatsune Miku to third-party properties like Minecraft's Steve and SpongeBob bloody SquarePants.

I wasn’t that interested in Crossworlds before, but a tour of its Grand Prix modes has me just as excited as I was for Mario Kart World.

Sonic Racing games have always been known for having some weird characters, but CrossWorlds is taking that further than ever before. There's been one noticeable downside to it all, though - the lack of voice acting for any of the guests. It was bad enough with SpongeBob and Patrick only making bubble noises, but it's just hit a new low.
