"I would be skeptical": These two popular picks for The Elder Scrolls 7 setting might be too weird for Microsoft

The Elder Scrolls loremaster, Kurt Kuhlmann, has revealed in a recent interview that he doesn't think Bethesda will end up using two highly requested locations for The Elder Scrolls 7, as their populations might be too weird for Xbox.

Even though it's been nearly 14 years since the last proper Elder Scrolls game released, we do at least know that the series is eventually coming back with the long-awaited sixth game. Bethesda hasn't revealed much about the project beyond its existence and a vague CG teaser, but it's widely rumoured to take place in Hammerfell.

It'd be one helluva way to reveal the new setting.

It's going to be a while until we find out whether all of the hints towards Hammerfell were correct, but that hasn't stopped fans from thinking about where The Elder Scrolls could go for its eventual seventh game. That's right, TES 6 hasn't even got a name yet, but some are wondering where the game after it will take place. One key dev is already skeptical about two possible locations, though.
