Marvel Rivals Hasn't Got Rid Of Bot Players, It's Just Made Them Act More "Human"

NetEase has never admitted that Marvel Rivals occasionally drops players in matches full of bots, but everyone knows that it does. It's pretty easy to figure it out for yourself - just lose a match or two on quick play, and you'll find yourself in a suspiciously easy game. The game will be full of players with default skins and bot-like behaviour, seemingly in an attempt to stop us from rage-quitting.

Since so many of us have sussed it out at this point, many in the Marvel Rivals community have been calling for bot lobbies to be scrapped, so we're not just awkwardly being handed a win that wasn't earned. Now, Season 3 has dropped, and bots are still very much a problem in quick play. The only difference is that the devs have tried to make them a little more human-like.

This was spotted by Reddit user Fun_Boot_7695, who got a video of this new bot behaviour in quick play. Here, we can see that characters likely controlled by bots can now move around in the lobby before the round starts, trying to appear more human by using attacks near a teammate, or putting down sprays....
