Two Years Later, Ubisoft Is Preparing A Pretty Beefy Update For Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora

In his review for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, TheGamer's Eric Switzer hailed it as "the best-looking game of the year." I feel like the game came out not even 12 months ago, but somehow, it'll already be turning two this December. Frontiers of Pandora, developed by The Division and Star Wars Outlaws maker Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft, has seen numerous post-launch updates including two story packs and an additional graphics setting on consoles.

A well-timed tie-in for the upcoming third entry in James Cameron's film series, Avatar: Fire and Ash, will provide Frontiers of Pandora with an impressive-sounding free DLC designed to accommodate a wider range of player types and offer some more content for those of us who have long since finished the game's prequel-focused main story.

Creative Director Omar Bouali has revealed upcoming release entitled '3rd-Person Update', which, besides doing exactly what it says on the tin, will also include a robust New Game Plus feature.
