Charlie Cox Says He's Getting A Console Just To Play Clair: Obscur Expedition 33 After High Praise

Since its initial release in late April, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has been showered with praise, from both fans, critics and influencers alike. For a while, it stood as one of Metacritic's highest-rated games … of all-time. That was before the Switch 2 versions of both Legend of Zelda games decided to make their presence felt.

As good as Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is, I hope it's a stepping stone to bigger, better things.

Recently, even Naughty Dog's Neil Druckmann had to find out for himself what the hype was, writing on social media that he was in "awe" after rolling credits on the title. That said, that level of hype hasn't extended to one of the game's voice actors, who, as it turns out, hasn't even played the title … yet.

As first spotted by GamesRadar, Charlie Cox, who lent his voice for the role of Gustave, revealed at a Q&A during GalaxyCon that he hasn't actually played Expedition 33 to see his character brought to life. Actually, Cox hasn't played any games in a long time.

"I remember being in the studio and thinking, 'This is beautiful, the visuals are extraordinary,'" Cox said via a transcription from GamesRadar....
