Since most physical games are on discs or tiny cards nowadays, themed cartridges are mostly a thing of the past. That didn't stop one Donkey Kong Bananza fan from spray painting their Switch 2 card yellow, though. Whatever you're thinking the consequences of doing something so silly might be, I promise you, they're so much worse.

TikTok user Gardner has shared their journey from opening up their physical copy of Bananza for the first time to asking the internet for help since their copy of the game is now jammed inside their Nintendo Switch 2. Sorry, I skipped a few steps there. It starts with Gardner showing us his shiny new Bananza cart, peeved that it's red and not yellow like Donkey Kong 64 and Donkey Kong Land's cartridges.

No bother, he'll fix that himself. The process begins with Gardner awkwardly prying open the Switch 2 card so that they can remove the part inside with the actual game on it before dousing the card in paint. The painting process throws up additional issues as the plastic case is so light, trying to spray paint it sends it flying off in various directions.
