The next game in The Legend of Zelda series may soon be launching on Nintendo Switch 2, as the game has received an age rating in Brazil, signalling that it’s ready for release.
The first Nintendo Switch 2 Direct lacked any announcements for new mainline Legend of Zelda games. Now that Tears of Kingdom and Echoes of Wisdom are out in the world, no one knows what’s next for Link, outside of a live-action movie in a couple of years.
The debut Nintendo Switch 2 Direct did have one new Legend of Zelda announcement - Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment. The game currently lacks a release date, but a Twitter/X user & Nintendo journalist named Necro Filipe has shared that the game has been rated in Brazil, hinting that it’s coming soon.
