Bandai Namco and FromSoftware have just announced a massive milestone, and honestly, it’s no surprise. With how much time players are still pouring into the Elden Ring universe, the sales figures just keep climbing.
Between Elden Ring, its Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, and the more recent release of Elden Ring Nightreign, the franchise has now pushed past 45 million units sold worldwide. That’s no small feat, and to celebrate, both companies issued a thank you to fans for the continued support.
The original Elden Ring has now sold over 30 million copies globally. The game continues to bring in new players and still gets talked about like it just dropped yesterday. It also took home a ridiculous number of Game of the Year wins and nominations, including from The Game Awards, DICE, and the Golden Joystick Awards. FromSoftware shook up the open-world formula and somehow made it feel brand new again.
