Magic: The Gathering 's upcoming Spider-Man set is one of its most significant collaborations yet, and new reveals highlight the variety of cards that it will include. While the Universes Beyond series of crossovers has covered fantasy franchises like Lord of the Rings and Final Fantasy, it's also touched on some material that isn't quite as naturally aligned with Magic: The Gathering's style. Spider-Man might seem like an odd choice, but the beloved character comes with plenty of fans.
IGN has revealed five new Spider-Man cards for Magic: The Gathering, including one alternate art card that features the original cover art for 1963's The Amazing Spider-Man #1. Drawn by legendary artists Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko, the scene features Spider-Man surrounded by the Fantastic Four. The other cards feature various Spider-Man variants: Spider-Man Noir, Peni Parker's mecha-spider, Spider-Man 2099, and Spider-Ham.
