The option that Elden Ring Nightreign fans have waited to experience since launch is nearly here, as Bandai Namco has confirmed that Two Player Mode is coming next week, alongside patch 1.02.
Elden Ring Nightreign was designed for three players, though it’s possible to go it alone. Fans really wanted a two-player mode, as that was easier to accommodate than aligning the schedules of three different people, especially working adults. That, and there are plenty of people who simply enjoy gaming with housemates or their partners, making it easier for them to get together and play.
It’s possible to play duo Elden Ring Nightreign on PC via mods, but that will soon no longer be necessary. A new trailer on the official Bandai Namco Entertainment America YouTube channel has announced that Two Player Mode will be arriving on July 30, 2025.
