"What A Joke": MindsEye Has Delayed Its Post-Launch Content, As Updates Become Less Frequent

It's been a while since we last heard anything about MindsEye, the debut game from ex-Grand Theft Auto producer Leslie Benzies. When it launched in early June, the game was immediately panned for being a half-baked experience, resulting in the title becoming the worst-reviewed game of the year. That's before Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact took its crown.

Build a Rocket Boy's debut has earned negative review scores, but after a year of fixes and discounts, I bet it could be kinda fun.

Immediately, its studio, Build a Rocket Boy, said it was "heartbroken" by the negative reaction before committing to improving the game via patches and fixes. In the time since, fixes have been coming out as promised. However, things took a turn on Friday, when Build a Rocket Boy said that a piece of major post-launch content would be delayed, along with noting that future updates will be far less frequent.

Taking to Reddit, a developer from Build a Rocket Boy outlined that a Hitman-themed mission that was slated for this month has been delayed indefinitely to a later date.
