It's not easy being a Fable fan. There are three mainline games to play, but two of them aren't on PC, and the one on console is the worst version of the first game. Then, there's a Kinect spin-off, and not much else, because the original developer was shut down while working on a live service that very few of us wanted, but would have liked to check out anyway.
So, we got a rare glimmer of hope when a new Fable game was announced, but as some fans have just realised, that was more than five years ago now. That's right, the first teaser for the game was shared with us on July 23, 2020 - and it still feels like we're waiting for a proper look at the game. It's enough to frustrate fans, and even worry some of them, as we're so far in and still don't have a release date.
