Invincible VS developers have free reign to include anything they like, even if it hasn't been in the show

The limited looks we've been shown of Invincible VS so far have only included what will likely be a small percentage of the final launch roster. All of the characters we've seen are also heroes and villains that fans of the show will be very familiar with. However, Invincible creator Robert Kirkman has confirmed that anyone might turn up in the game, even if they haven't been in the show yet.

Speaking with TheGamer's Eric Switzer during this weekend's San Diego Comic-Con, Kirkman confirmed that Invinicble VS developers Quarter Up can pull from the Invinicble comics as well as the show if they want to. "Yeah they have access to all that stuff," Kirkman revealed. "The current basis of the game is show related, but there may be the odd thing, maybe a skin or something, that hasn't popped up in the show yet."

As always, Rex Splode is the GOAT.

Kirkman didn't go as far as to reveal who those characters might be, nor did he divulge any details about confirmed characters that haven't been shown off yet. So far, some of the playable characters confirmed for Invincible VS include Rex Splode, Atom Eve, Omni-Man, and, as revealed...
