PC players have been able to enjoy mods since launch day. However, it wasn't until Baldur's Gate 3's Patch 7, when officially modding support was added, that console players were able to enjoy the same feature. The only catch is that mods are submitted and released in waves via the official channels on consoles, meaning they exist in much fewer quantities. Still, with Larian leaving the game behind, it's a great way for console fans to enjoy a taste of what the modding community has to offer.
