In case you didn't know, Amazon is adapting Sony's God of War franchise into a TV show. While the project has long been in development, it seems to finally be building up some steam.
Running the show for the series is Ronald D. Moore, a familiar name for sci-fi and fantasy fans given his work on Battlestar Galactica and Star Trek.
Moore has, for what I think might be the first time, opened up a bit about the God of War adaptation, and even his familiarity with the franchise and gaming in general.

Speaking at San Diego Comic-Con to IGN, Moore mentioned that while Kratos is the central protagonist of the series, his son Atreus wil also play a big part in the series. This confirms the Amazon show will focus on the Norse version of God of War, instead of the original series of games.
Funnily enough, Moore also admitted that he doesn't play games, though he has tried to.
