In terms of Switch 2 heavy-hitters, Nintendo fans are surely still enjoying rocketing around the tracks of Mario Kart World and pummeling through the stages of Donkey Kong Bananza. Now, we have further tantalizing hints that a release date for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond may be coming very soon.
As reported by VGC, the game has been rated by a board in South Korea, which deemed it suitable “for ages 12 and up due to “mild violence.” If you’ve been in the gaming sphere for a while, you’ll know that these ratings can typically be taken as an indication that the game is firmly on its way to retail.
Just how firmly, of course, remains to be seen. Aside from the fact that it’s still currently on course for a 2025 release, we don’t yet know when it’s going to land.
All this anticipation isn't anything unusual for the broader franchise.
