If you play Marvel Rivals' Ranked mode, chances are you've scratched your head more than once regarding matches you've had.. There are instances where you completely steamroll the enemy, and times where your teammates are no better than bots.

It's definitely befuddling what's happening with matchmaking, and it's one that developer NetEase will address soon.

This is probably the most important topic that players are looking forward to the most, even more than new heroes and levels.

Marvel Rivals Matchmaking Questions To Be Answered Soon

If you're one of the many Marvel Rivals players that does not understand the hero shooter's matchmaking algorithm, you're not alone. While the developers at NetEase have remained mum on how the game's matchmaking works, that's about to change soon.

While most multiplayer games adopt an SBMM (Skill-Based Matchmaking algorithm) system, that doesn't seem to be the case for Marvel Rivals. The hero shooter seems to employ EOMM (Engagement Optimized Matchmaking), which honestly speaking, doesn't make sense if you're playing a competitive mode.
