Despite promising there would be more of them after its unexpected Killzone team-up, Helldivers 2 has been pretty light when it comes to crossovers. We might be about to get a big one when the PS5 console exclusive arrives on Xbox later this month, though, as a new trailer hyping its cross-platform release ends with the suggestion that content from Halo 3: ODST is coming to the game.
The majority of the new Helldivers 2 Bring The Boom trailer is just a pretty effective advert attempting to entice Xbox players into pre-ordering the game. Join the fight for Super Earth when it launches on Series X|S on August 26. However, after it fades to black, we're shown a hellpod landing with what Halo fans have correctly identified as music from Halo 3: ODST playing as it arrives on the battlefield.
