A reliable Resident Evil leaker has claimed that Requiem will be Leon Kennedy's "send-off" and that he likely won't appear in any other mainline games.
For as long as we've been hearing rumblings about Resident Evil Requiem (also known as Resident Evil 9), one of the biggest question marks surrounding it has been about the status of Leon Kennedy. Despite what Capcom's been saying, it's been heavily reported that he'll appear in Requiem and have just as much to do as Grace Ashcroft.
Of course, with Requiem taking place in the modern day and Leon canonically being much older than we've ever seen him in the series, that does raise some questions about how much life the RPD officer has left in him. It seems that Requiem might even be Leon's final game, something that a reliable leaker has suggested is the case.
Yesterday, everybody's favourite Resi insider, AestheticGamer, took to Twitter to answer a surprising amount of questions about Requiem ahead of its appearance at Gamescom Opening Night Live.
