Battlefield 6's first open beta weekend was a huge success. The test's concurrent player count on Steam topped out at more than half a million players. If you weren't one of the millions who checked it out and you've been feeling FOMO ever since, fear not, there's a second, even bigger open beta taking place this weekend, and it's not too late to sign up if you haven't already.

It's free to take part in Battlefield 6's second open beta weekend, and despite what you might have seen elsewhere, you don't have to be signed up to Battlefield Labs to join the action - that was just for the early access part of the first weekend. All you need to do is make sure you have an EA account and that your account is linked to the platform on which you plan to play the beta.

If your platform is linked to a different EA account, do not unlink it. That could result in losing downloads and purchases that you might not be able to get back.
