It has been revealed that Rocket League's second Season will begin soon.

Developer Psyonix has revealed the Season 2 of Rocket League will begin on December 9th. With the new Season comes a new 70 Tier Rocket Pass, with a new car called the R3MX. The new car is unlocked immediately with Rocket Pass Premium, with another version of the vehicle, the R3MX GXT, being available at Tier 70. There will be a number of new accessories for players to unlock, some of which will pulse and flash to the beat of the menu and Arena music.

A new Arena will drop with Season 2. The new Arena, entitled Neon Fields, will be available in Online Playlists and Private Matches. Players will now be able to choose their favorite song from the game and have it play when they score a goal, make an Epic Save, or earn MVP. Players will be able to unlock new songs to choose for their Player Anthem through Challenges, the Rocket Pass, and the Item Shop. Psyonix has also teamed up with artist Kaskade to produce a new song for Rocket League. The song, entitled "Flip Reset," with Will K, can be streamed here. The developer also stated to be on the lookout for new music throughout the Season.

Also coming to Rocket League is a new LTM called Rocket Labs. Rocket Labs will appear periodically as an LTM Playlist throughout Season 2. In Rocket Labs, players will be able to check out non-standard, and even experimental, Arenas that feature Soccar and other modes.

Finally, players who have PlayStation Plus can claim a bundle of items later this month. The bundle includes the Hypernova G1 Boost, SLK-VL Wheels, Lightning Plus Trail, and the Vice SE Breakout Decal.

Rocket League is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch. The game is free-to-play.
