The Second Weekend Of Battlefield 6's Open Beta Has Rampant Matchmaking Issues, But EA Is Looking Into It

The second weekend of Battlefield 6's open beta is off to a great start, already attracting over 275,000 concurrent players after just a few hours.

However, the launch of the second beta hasn't been as smooth as EA might've hoped, as, just moments after the game went online, reports of a myriad of technical issues began flooding in.

The game fails to load; parties are disbanded seemingly at random; queues are not working, and, of course, constant crashing. The first weekend also had issues, but there has been an uptick in technical complaints this time around.

Naturally, this has attracted the attention of EA, who posted a message using the official Battlefield account on Reddit (nice spot, Eurogamer).

"The team is aware of ongoing matchmaking issues for some of our players who are attempting to matchmake on playlists," the post reads. "We're actively investigating this and working towards a solution as soon as possible. Hang tight while we dig into this!"

The account also advises having your EA client on the latest version, and to repair it using an in-client option if necessary.
