We've known for a while that Bandai Namco is keen on further remasters of its long-running JRPG franchise, Tales (or 'Tales of', but I honestly hate calling it that). Last December, series producer Yusuke Tomizawa was quoted as saying that the aim is to provide Tales remasters fairly consistently.
That's welcome news for fans, but we've only seen hints of what might be next in line after this year's Tales of Graces f Remastered. A Tales of the Abyss trademark has hinted that Luke fon Fobre's epic redemption story is en route, but prior to that bit of news, we reported that a Tales of Xillia remaster had been leaked at multiple European retailers. Well, we now have nigh-definitive proof that deuteragonists Jude Mathis and Milla Maxwell's 2013 adventure is coming first.
A wonderfully swift Redditor named SkyDragonOfThebes caught Bandai Namco inadvertently airing a planned Tales news announcement four days ahead of schedule. With very little time to grab a screenshot, they landed on what is quite clearly a skit-based scene from Tales of Xillia.
