Chris Hansen Is Investigating Roblox Predators Alongside The YouTuber Who Was Banned For "Vigilantism"

Roblox has long been accused of not doing enough to protect the children using its platform. We often hear stories of children accessing inappropriate content, or even encountering inappropriate behaviour from adult users - in the worst case scenario, arranging to meet with the child in real life. Now, this issue has flared up once again, as Roblox banned a user who was attempting to target predators.

That user, a YouTuber going by the name Schlep, has received an outpouring of support, and now, even has Chris Hansen in his corner. Hansen, best known for the Dateline series To Catch a Predator, is working on an investigation alongside Schlep, although some already have their doubts about the effectiveness of Hansen's involvement.

Hansen announced the investigation on his Twitter account. His work will be hosted on his own streaming service, TruBlu.

"I've already interviewed law enforcement, investigators, and victims of this horrible activity," says Hansen. "And, we have some collaborators, some people who have been working in this space, including Schlep, who have committed to help us in this endeavour."
