Wplace Is A Live Interactive World Map You Can Draw On, And It's Already Been Overrun By Deltarune Fans

If you're in certain gaming circles and regularly browse Twitter (I wouldn't recommend doing that), then you'll probably have heard of Wplace. For the less terminally online, it's essentially an interactive map of the entire world that you can place pixels on, letting you draw all kinds of fun art. Imagine Google Maps and MS Paint mixed into one, which then lets everybody hop on at the same time. That's Wplace.

It kicked off earlier this month, and has blown up in popularity over the past few days, as more and more people dive in to make pixel art on famous landmarks, cities, and where they live. Understandably, plenty of gamers have also been spending time there too, which has led to the majority of art being created having some kind of gaming theme.

It's quite fun to just think of a place and then see what gaming-related icons you can spot there, and locations that are linked to certain games are already being filled with references. One of my favorite examples is Port Island in Japan being filled with Persona 3 drawings, like characters from the game and the Tartarus tower.
