Since its launch in December of last year, Marvel Rivals has been consistently adding iconic heroes to its already well-rounded roster on a consistent basis.
Most recently, Blade joined the roster as part of the Season 3.5 update. While the Marvel Cinematic Universe film continues to be stuck in limbo, at least we get to play Blade in one of our favorite hero shooters, right?
NetEase recently confirmed that they have enough new characters lined up for the next 12 months. Based on leaks, we can expect some more fan favorites, such as Deadpool, joining the roster.
But what about original heroes that don't exist anywhere else within the Marvel universe? That's more likely than you may think.

Speaking with MP1st, Guangguang confirmed that they are "allowed to introduce original characters in Marvel Rivals." Beyond that, Guangguang didn't give any concrete details on how soon we can expect an original character, other than telling fans to "stay tuned."
