In December last year, Inin Games said they were looking to port Shenmue 3 to current-gen platforms. Here we are eight months later, and it's now a reality.
Inin Games, along with Ys Net, announced Shenmue 3 Enhanced for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC.
While the official unveiling will take place at gamescom this week, information about the new features and upgrades has been revealed by the publisher.
Shenmue 3 Enhanced Will Include New Features
Inin Games has also announced that owners of the original Shenmue 3 on PS4 and PC will be offered an upgrade path to the Enhanced Edition, though it doesn't sound like it'll be free (probably discounted rate compared to the base game price).
