Xbox's new platform-first approach has seen a lot of exclusives migrate over to PlayStation. While not all Xbox fans are happy about this, it seems Microsoft has no plans to slow down. Iconic IPs like Gears of War: Reloaded will also be released on the PS5, and perhaps even the Nintendo Switch 2.
While Xbox hardliners have been pretty vocal about their disdain for this move, it seems that the creator of Gears of War thinks it's a great idea. While Cliff Bleszinski no longer works on Gears, he thinks that the move to PlayStation will bring the IP to more players, and can only be a positive for everyone.
In a conversation with Eurogamer, Bleszinski said seeing iconic Xbox titles like Gears of War on PlayStation "doesn't feel strange". In fact, he's more than happy with it. "I'm thrilled that more people are going to get to experience a big part of my legacy that I worked so hard on." Gears of War Reloaded will be coming to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S On August 26.
