PlayStation Plus has had a stacked couple of months, but the service is about to lose eight great games in September, after having been available to Extra and Premium subscribers for a while.

2025 marks the 15th anniversary of PlayStation Plus, and Sony has been filling the year with amazing games. Recently, Cyberpunk 2077 was shadow-dropped onto the service, while Death Stranding 2 received a Game Trial that let players experience the first few hours of the game for free.

It’s not all additions when it comes to PlayStation Plus, as there are several titles being pulled from the service next month. According to Eurogamer, PlayStation Plus is losing eight titles, including one of the best VR games available on the platform.

On September 16, the following eight games will be pulled from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog:

There are a few standout names in the bunch, especially Pistol Whip. It’s no secret that Sony has slowly backed away from PSVR2 support, as interest in VR as a whole has waned. Still, Pistol Whip is an amazing shooter, especially for those who love dual-wielding guns.
