Lego Batman: Legacy Of The Dark Knight Looks Like It's Skipping The DCEU, But It Might Adapt The "ArkhamVerse" Era

Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is tying all of the movies together with one cohesive story, while also sprinkling in that signature TT Games humour. But there was no sign of the DCEU in the reveal trailer at Gamescom ONL—no brawl with Superman, recruiting the Justice League, or even his brief run-in with Deadshot.

The DCEU was also missing from a poll that the official DC YouTube account posted, asking fans, "Which era of the Caped Crusader are you most hyped to see get the Lego treatment?". The options listed are The Dark Knight, Matt Reeves, Tim Burton, and The ArkhamVerse. It's not looking good for Ben Affleck fans.

Judging by the comments, though, nobody really cares. Especially since Legacy of the Dark Knight seems to be adapting the far more popular Arkham series, and not just its game mechanics. With the "ArkhamVerse" era listed alongside all the rest, which we've already seen snippets of, it looks like we'll get to see some of its story recreated in Lego, too.

Maybe we'll see Batman thrown into the Asylum by Hugo Strange, or Jason Todd resurrected as the Red Hood, teaming up with Scarecrow to expose the Caped...
