The Battlefield 6 beta was pretty impressive, and that’s coming from a disgruntled Battlefield 1 fan who was expecting the beta to flop altogether. However, if one thing has become clear, it’s that 2025 is the year of Battlefield, with FPS gamers disregarding competitors like Black Ops 7 like yesterday's soggy old newspaper.
In fact, in the recent Battlefield 6 community update, the developers have come out directly to share what a success the Beta was, including additional information such as how these community tests will help them flesh out the game going forward.
However, if one thing is going to stab Battlefield 6 in the back, it’ll probably be their own creator, EA. After all, just a few weeks ago, before the release of the beta, a report came out shining a light on the impressive – and almost impossible – feats EA is planning for Battlefield 6 to achieve, such as surpassing 100 million players.
