Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Has Been Rated By The ESRB

Fresh off a 45-minute Nintendo Direct for Kirby Air Ride, it's been radio silence for any new Metroid Prime 4: Beyond news from Gamescom 2025.

Despite getting rated in South Korea, there's still no official release date for the game other than "2025." It is, however, playable on the Gamescom showfloor, so Nintendo is confident in showing the game to fans. We did, however, get one piece of news, albeit it was a quiet one: The ESRB has rated Metroid Prime 4: Beyond "T" for Teen, as spotted by the game's official Nintendo Store page.

Normally, this indicates that the game is getting ready to release, but again, Nintendo hasn't said a peep about a release date, and their press site hasn't updated the game's information since April's Nintendo Direct.

This isn't the first glimpse of hope we've seen recently surrounding the game's release. Earlier this year, advertisements in London incorrectly said the game was "out now."
